C-Word: Consent Program
Thursday September 24, 2026 1:00pm - 2:30pm PDT
The C-Word: Consent is an interactive, educational program that uses a combination of audience interaction, improv exercises, and thoroughly researched information to break down walls and have a frank, difficult, but needed conversation about sex and consent. This program covers a wide range of topics that include effective boundary setting, online behavior, bystander intervention, and survivor resources. Content warning: This training discusses sensitive topics and content on sexual assault and interpersonal violence, which may be difficult; students are encouraged to prepare themselves emotionally beforehand or take a brief period of time away from the program if needed to attend to their own well-being. Students may contact an Abby’s House Confidential Advocate at [email protected] if they wish an exemption or seek an alternative option if they are unable to complete the training. If you need to speak to a WOU confidential support service, please contact Abby’s House (503-838-8219) or the Student Health & Counseling Center (503-838-8313).

ASL interpreters will be provided for this event.
