Before you dive into your first term of classes, we have a jam-packed week of exciting activities to help you become acclimated to campus life. From speakers, to socials, to signing your name on the sidewalk, join your fellow new wolves to begin making your mark at WOU!
By participating in PACK Welcome Week, you agree to be photographed and/or recorded and grant Western Oregon University the permission to use your image, voice, and likeness in any university materials or communications.

Missed yesterday's Off-Campus Community Meeting? No worries! This is your make-up opportunity! Meet your WOU Crew Member and connect with other off-campus students as you go over the PACK Welcome Week schedule, learn what to expect over the next few days, and get all your questions answered before the week kicks into full gear.

Join Student Engagement to find the best involvement opportunity for you! In this session, we will cover everything from clubs and organizations to leadership opportunities on campus and everything in between. This session is perfect if you are unsure of how to get involved here at WOU! Come cultivate a sense of belonging with us!
This session will help students understand the benefits from working, as well as how to use Handshake to find opportunities. We will go over the paperwork needed for HR for on campus jobs, as well as ways to keep your position and be a good student employee.
NOTE: This session is also offered in a later Ed Session Block.
Make meaningful connections from day one! Meet the PACE (Peer Allies for College Engagement) Coordinators & Mentors and kick off your WOU journey with fun, interactive activities designed to help you connect with other new students. You'll have the opportunity to build new friendships and connect with classmates who may share similar experiences and interests. Whether you arrive knowing no one or already have a few familiar faces on campus, this is a great way to build your network, strengthen your sense of belonging, and begin your WOU experience with confidence.
Cultural Connections is a program sponsored by the PACE (Peer Allies for College Engagement) Program within the Multicultural Student Services & Programs Office, that is designed to provide an orientation opportunity to culturally diverse students. You will have a chance to meet MSSP staff members, the PACE Coordinators and the PACE Mentors that are current students who are excited to work with you and share information about programs and leadership opportunities on campus. Our goal is to support you as you make your transition to Western Oregon University. There is one Cultural Connections Session each week day of Pack Welcome Week and there will be a drawing for prizes at each session! For those of you that attend all of the Cultural Connection sessions, you will be in the drawing for the grand prize at the final session of the week!
